[::..My Best Friend's Wedding..::]

Sorry for not updating my blog. Too busy yesterday. And I was very tired at the end of the day.

Yaqin finally solemnized her marriage to Halim last night 26th Jan 2007 at 8.30pm. Their happiness was apparent for all to see. They are made for each other, and Lala, Bond and I were so happy to see them finally married. Lets all pray that Allah will bless them with a happy marriage and lot of kids in future. I told my mum today that by next year, i foresee the next time I come home, I will see their little one.
Her family came in full strength. Everyone was wearing nice pretty traditional dresses and headscarves, even the little girls. Ofie was especially adorable. She is such a soft spoken little angel. Yaqin of course looked exceptionally beautiful, but then again, when is she not beautiful? She was wearing a glitter full of traditional kebaya. A vision in white. Halim lost a lot of weight after his recent bout from chicken pox. But yesterday, he too looked exceptionally dashing. We all can see he is comfortable with his new status as a husband. The gift exchange was beyond everyone's imagination. I understood Yaqin personally did all the gift arrangements with some help from Lala and Bond. I didn't help because I was still stuck in London. But it was very very beautiful. There were lots of feathers and at one time, the Marriage Registrar was a bit disturbed by it. He was very cool. He gave a little lecture on marriage, responsibility of husband, wife and all sorts. Very touching.

My henna is getting darker and darker. It started of light, and then somehow, it became darker. It is quite nice now. I really like it. I am not well today. I think due to insufficient sleep and drinking and eating too much heaty food has taken its tool on my throat. I am having sore throat and slight fever. So, I told Yaqin I can't go to Halim's reception today. But i will try to go to Yaqin's reception tomorrow since I am on duty.
