[::..True Lies..::]
Dearest beloved friends and family members,
A little angel emailed me about this book. Please spread the word that the book is a complete lie. It is not a modification of the Quran as the Quran cannot be modified. The Quran is sacred and is the book in which we Muslims use in our everyday life alongside the Hadiths. So, do your part and condemn this rubbish publication:
The True Furqan
No disrespect to my fellow Christian friends, but Islam does not believe in the Holy Trinity. It is my duty as a Muslim to point out this mistake to fellow Muslims.
Remember: It is Shaitan's Promise to lure the sons of Adam to evilness.

[::..My week..::]
Thank God that it is the weekends finally. This must be the most hectic week the hospital had in years. Especially on the EPS front. There were only four of us who are trained in EP. It is crazy man. I had to come early to set up the lab on Monday, Thursday and Friday. Then on Friday, the doctors told us exactly what cases we are going to have, and we are all stunned. Then by the grace of Allah, the machine broke down. And we had to move the patient to another lab. So, one broken lab, one broken machine, 4 techs, and no lunch breaks. But we girls did manage lunch breaks in between. It was good team effort.
Enough of work. Yaqin and her new hubby will be in UK next week. How cool is that. Unfortunately, I have a lot of work to do, so I can only see them a few hours in the day. Next week though, we will have a bit more people from college. So, it is cool.
I am missing Ayam Taucu so much. Best thing is, I don't know how to cook it. Let me call my mummy.

[::..No doubt about it, we've got SPARKS!..::]
Salam Everyone,
Things are not going well. I came back from Belgium only to fall sick. Sore throat and a cold. But despite that, I decided to push on. Did the NASPE pre exam questions, couldn't answer any questions at all. Especially questions on capacitors, capacitance, parallel circuit, series circuit, batter, electrons, impedance, anode, cathode, insulators....what on earth are those? I did chemistry in school. Lots of chemistry, and Math. And lots of years down the line, I have to remember how to do fractions. 1/52 + 1/72=? How on earth would I know. How do you find the total impedance on a parallel circuit? Arrgghhhhh....And not to mention current drain...diode. It is so frustrating man......
I dumped all my pacing books in a suitcase beside my bed. You know, these days, I can't bear sitting by the desk for hours on end doing my studying. It hurts my back so much. I blame it on the age thing you know. Sigh. Spending 8 whole hours in the lab wearing lead apron doesn't help. So nowadays I do my studying on the bed, lying down and writing notes.
Back to studying now. This is life. My last cardiology exam. After that, no WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[::..Back from Bruxelles..::]
Phew, back at last. I didn't miss the snow at all in London because, I was blessed with my own snow in Bruxelles. It snowed heavily on my first day in class. It was amazing. I have never seen snow so white, fluffy, light and yet heavy in my life before. This beats the rubbish snow in London!
I had such a good time. of course this time, more intense studying and I paid so much attention in class, i was knackered at the end of the day. On my first night, it was absolutely freezing. I was smart enough to bring my winter coat, gloves and even scarf. I somehow had the feeling that it is going to be colder there. And I was right. I arrived at night on Sunday. No group dinner so I had to make do with my own crappy dinner. Had vegetarian pizza at pizza hut. It was ok. Went with my colleague Mark. We took the bus back to the hotel coz he didn't have a winter coat on, and the both of us were just cold! I think he just wanted to get back to give his wife a call to say hes ok!
I couldn't sleep that night. I switched on the air con, but it was more like a HOT con! It felt like I was drowning in hell fire. But how would I know what hell is like! But I was cozy though. I had a good sized bed, with 6 downs pillow which are compartmentalised, which means, it has good head support. It was firm, yet fluffy. I was in love with my pillow, I decided to buy one until I found out that it was going to cost me £60 for a pillow which comes with its own 300+ threadcount egyption cotton pillow case. Forget it. Next time maybe.
Classes were intense, but very helpful for my exam. I actually stayed awake throughout the whole thing. I kept on loading myself with orange juice. The muslim staffs in the hotel treated me like royalty, they treated me so well, Mark said next time, he wants to wear the hijab as well so they will treat him just as well!
Spent a lot of my time in my room reading this time round. Paid for the exam, might as well give it a good shot. 6 more weeks to D-Day. Didn't even go for the city tour, well, I went last year.
My Bruxelle experience was marred by a "B" in the Eurostar Immigration. She singled me out, and said she wants me to take off my hijab just so that she can make sure it is me in the passport. I know my passport photo wasn't with the hijab, but in my passport, I had a UNITED KINGDOM ENTRY VISA which had a hijab on. And i showed it to her, she said NOT GOOD ENOUGH! What nonsence. Then brought me to the back of the wall to open my hijab, but there was a queue that could see me. This time I told her in the face :NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Then she brought me to the room, and asked me to open my hijab in the room, and there was a man in there working on the PC. Which part of this whole nonsense can she not understand Ignorant English Witch! I said to her: Not GOOD ENOUGH! Then she asked the man to get out of the room but the door was open and the queue of men could still see me. She is one stupid woman. She really is. It wasn't even a proper investigating room. It was an office. And you know, when finally she was satisfied I was me, i told her i was going to take some time to pin everything back in place. She couldn't even be bothered to wait, she left ME, ALONE, in the officers room where there are lots of confidential files and went out with my passport and handed it over to Mark (she said my friend). How did she know Mark was my friend? Mark could just be someone I knew, or someone I just chatted with. So unprofessional.
What was wierd though was that she was bothered about what was on MY HEAD, rather than what was in my bag. I managed to bring in a CORKSCREW into the Eurostar without the XRAY Security noticing. What a stupid ignorant woman. THIS IS NOT CHECKING ME OUT BECAUSE OF SOME ANTI TERRORISM ACT OR SECURITY. THIS IS MORE ABOUT BEING AN ENGLISH RACIST! If not, she is just plain jealous that I am gorgeous! Haha......
Too fed up to continue. UK should have guidelines on choosing people to check. You can't just single out the muslims. We have human rights too. You can't just strip people of their modesty just because you feel like it. God will punish you for it. One day, Allah will do something so you to will wear a hijab, like maybe, make you bald!
I'm not a terrorist. I'm not opressed by my hijab. I'm a muslim, and thats my way of life. If you don't like my hijab, try walking around the streets in your bra and panties, or even better, naked. See if you like it. Or see if others like it? Yuck! So gross.................

[::..Bu Rudy..::]
I miss Bu Rudy. I really do. Udang Bu Rudy is the best udang goreng anyone can taste. You can eat is as a compliment to your dinner, or as a snack. I have been eating it as a snack, and thus, now dah habis. Then Sambal Bu Rudy pun sedap. Pedas nya...fuh...lidah boleh terbakar. Tapi, tu pun dah habis. Sedih...isk, isk. I tried to look at the internet for it, to see if I can buy it anywhere in London, and theres none. Sigh....
I somehow managed to get the recipe for sambal Bu Rudy. Hopefully I will be able to do it. All I have to do now is to go Chinatown to buy batu lesung so I can tumbuk my sambal rather than blender it. I go crazy with the blender most of the times. I will whizz till everything is liquified.
I am at home today, studying for my exam. Later on I will probably start packing for Brussels. I am trying to plan my days ahead. I know I am probably not go to the city tour again, but if I do not go, I will miss out on all the yummy Belgian waffles on the way. And I will also probably order room service unless dinner is held in the hotel itself, at least I can excuse myself and go back to bed. At least for the first night, I will be having my own dinner in my little room. I am tempted to bring my rice cooker. I keep on losing my travel adaptors. God knows how many i have now. But they are never anywhere to be found. Ohh...I found them! Phew, or else...I need to buy one more.
Now, is there anyone who can bring me Bu Rudy's sambal and udang kering? I really want it!
Now, my travel details:
Sun 17th March 2007-Leaving UK for Brussels Midi at 12 noon.
Wednesday 21st March 2007-Reaching London about 7.30pm.
All by Eurostar.......Please remind me i need to get drinks for the train journey! I think it is 3hrs!

[::..Let it Snow, let it snow.....::]
Went to work early this morning, met my girlfriends on the way and they told me a heartbreaking news. This weekend, it is going to snow in London. I was so happy until i remembered I am not going to be here. I will be in Belgium Sunday onwards till Wednesday, and after Wednesday, weather forecast said, the cold snap will end!
Just like love, it is not meant to be. In 2005 it was snowing in the months of October and November and I was in sunny Singapore. Then in 2006, I decided that I am not going to miss any of it, so I stayed in London the whole year. There was no snow at all in 2006! Went home to Singapore in January 2007 to February 2007, and guess what? It snowed heavily in London. When I came back to work, everyone said I missed the snow coz they remembered me dancing like a snow fairy when I first came here in the snow. They all said I will get a second chance. This is my second chance, and where will I be? In Brussels. I can't believe it. The artic wind will be crossing UK till Wednesday and leaves for Europe Wednesday onwards, and when it reaches Brussels, I am back in UK. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This year end, I am going to North Pole so I can play in the snow.
Sigh, I can never win can I?
By the way, Fafa is ME! Thats what Royal Bromtoners call me. No other name, just Fafa!

[::..Chicken Rice..::]
You can hear from my blog that it is a song about going to rehab. I think it is a fab idea for me to spend some time in there....Just to chill out...Chill.
It was Johnny's birthday today. Mo and I went out to King's Road to buy him a cake and his favourite sandwich from Pret. I bought the same sandwich as well, and a cup of miso soup. I love miso soup. I can drink it forever. We came back an hour later and tried to hide the cake but Johnny was talking to some people on the corridor. So we kept the cake in the dirty room instead. Later on, after 2 ablation cases, Johnny went to the ward to meet his patient and we lit some candles on his cake and paged him saying that his patient is ready. When he came back, he was surprised to see a birthday cake in the lab and we all came out from hiding behind the anaesthetic machine to surprise him. Can't believe he was a March baby as well. This month, we had me, Steph, Jarrad and now Johnny.
I had a nice day, but my day was spoiled when I came home. I was teaching Momo and my another friend how to make chicken rice, and suddenly I had a craving for it. So, Mo and I went to get some groceries for the rice. I wanted to get halal chicken from my usual butcher, but when i reached there, it was closed. Then I saw a 'Closing Down' sale sign and went in and spoke to the owner. I was visibly upset. I told him how dare he abandon the Muslims living here. Then he said there are some halal butchers up the road. My only worry is where am i gonna find chicken wings and beef meat now? They are like gold dust. So difficult to find. And my butcher's meats are very very fresh. I used to buy daily and not keep any in the freezer.
So, my dreams of making chicken rice today ended just like that....Well, luckily for me, I bought Humus in Waitrose just now and I had another packet of crisp from Pret this morning. So, that's my dinner. That's all.....
I'm gutted.

[::..My Retreat..::]
I was advised to remove my Dua video for obvious reasons. Didn't mean to cause any damage to anyone. Just want to state the obvious, that Muslims everywhere are oppressed and instead of using bombs or hands to fight, we should doa. The power of doa is unbelievable.....
I had quite a good day at work today. Few more days and I am off to Brussels-again. Went there last year. I don't think I'm interested in the city tour this year. I might just stay in the hotel and then order some food. I'm not into the Wine and Dine thing anymore. When I mean Wine and Dine, I mean have a nice sit down dinner, chat about world peace for example...Not exactly drinking wine. This quote was created when Yaqin, Lala and I have a girls night out and we want to eat posh. We never really got to eat posh those days, we never have the money. We were just fresh out of school. But the best food doesn't always have to be posh. Sometimes, the kedai luar rumah yang kotor tu lah yang SEDAP!
This time we are having classes in the hotel itself. I like the idea of it being in the hotel. I can just go up to my room and sleep if I feel like it. Or have an early night. The novelty of hotel rooms and flights are over for me ever since I have been in UK. I have been to lots of courses and have stayed in some of the grandest hotels. I used to get so excited over bath tubs. It is really nice to soak in after a good day's work. After one of those group dinners, I would quickly excuse myself so i can have an early night. A night in the tub. But after 2 yrs or so, I will still excuse myself early, but my early night will be in the nice cosy bed of the hotels. I still do get excited over English breakfast, yogurts, fruits, cereals or different shapes and sizes, grilled mushrooms...yummy. If I ever go home to Singapore, I will definitely miss the grand English Breakfast. A full fry-up. Good for the tummy, bad for the heart!
I need to pen off now, really need to get back to my books. It is so impossible to study at my age. To all the students: When you don't study anymore, your brain will be depleted of grey matter, than when you suddenly want to study again, there's no grey matter left, and you will be called Stupid! Sigh....I have enough of this studying. I need to go to a retreat as well. A nice, relaxing retreat!

[::..What is Love..::]
Note to self: Never hurt a love that loves. Never love a love that hurts.
I am stickler for heartaches and trouble....
A typical woman.
Sorry for being me, but I am what I am, and I was made this way. I never meant to hurt you. Never meant to hurt myself. All I want is to be happy. All I want is to be happy. All I want is to be happy.

[::..Nothing is more beautiful than this.....::]
Dear Family and friends,
Please listen to this beautiful recitation by Misyari Rashid. What makes it perfect is that you have the translation with it. His reading just brings me back to earth, makes me feel so insignificant, makes me feel so humble, makes me want to read just as well as him. Dad, this one is especially for you.

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time
Sometimes I wish, I shouldn't have done what I did
Sometimes I wish, I didn't have to be so stupid
Sometimes I wish, I have appreciated you more
Sometimes I wish, you will forgive me for all the things I have done
Sometimes I wish, I just wish, I had married you the moment I could.
I may smile,
But my smile hides the tears streaming down my face.
I may cry tears,
But those tears are tears of blood.
I may think,
But I think of you all day.
I may plan,
And my plans are always with you in my mind.
When I pray,
I ask Allah for forgiveness.
When I ask,
I ask for Allah to give you all the blessings in the world.
Because just like how i broke your heart,
My heart breaks for you as well.
To you, who has brought me to realise that life is after all for Allah,
To you, who made me the person I was few years ago,
To you, who gave me the happiness for so many years,
To you, who was my strength in my time of weakness.
To me, who was such a fool, to seek for greener pastures, as the grass is never greener on the other side.
My reason to leave you, was never because I stop loving you.....I said that years ago, and i will say it again.
Life will never be the same again. The roses will never smell as sweet. And my heart will never beat like before......it bleeds.
I am broken, just as you are, and nothing can mend my broken heart but you. Please forgive me. I may be a different girl, but i am the same for you.....
Is this the end???

[::..My Woes..::]
I was back at work yesterday for a 7.30am shift. My boss was there too, thinking that I was not going to be in. She told me how pale I looked and i should go home straight away. But i told her that I will be ok by the afternoon and really want to be at work (really!). I was going to have a nice day. Met Momo at work who was off for two days possibly due to a stomach flu or food poisoning. Then in the later part of the morning, Jonathan saw me and said declared to the world," Awe...Fafa, I heard you were up with woman troubles all night!" When I heard that, I my ears perked up, and my eyes open so widely and was sooo embarrassed. Whoever told him that???? hehe. Then to make me feel better, he said that he suffers the same way to, whatever that means. He makes me laugh sometimes.
I didn't manage to do much studying last night as I was still unwell. But today, I hope to accomplish lots. Finally got my hands on my Eurostar tickets for Brussels this 19th for the NASPE prep course. It is a very good course. Saw that Pacemaker Timing was on the agenda which is going to be a big help. I received Wendy's notes yesterday. She sent me almost 30 papers to read. That's hell alot of studying to do. But Farah........Why are you still blogging?????
Bye!

[::..Sick Day..::]
I am having a really crap day today. I woke up with so much pain in my abdomen. Called my boss to inform her that I will not be coming in today, and told her about some other issues regarding private evening work that I have signed up for tonight. Unfortunately, I will be losing some money tonight, but i have no choice as I can't even get out of bed. Walking is a no-no.
It is really terrible to be sick and alone in a foreign country. No mum to take care of you. No brother to pop his stinky head in the room and say ," Kakak hari ni tak gi kerja?????!" No nice yummy porriage waiting on the dining table. So lonely, I am so lonely in this place. I have no one to turn to but myself. All my bones and joins are aching. What the heck am I suffering from? I always get a few illness at once. It is bizzare how my poor fat body works. What did i do to be a bag full of VIRUS?
I am missing home so much. I wish I could have a portal where I can just press a button and be transported home. Now, the only think I am so looking forward to is doing my exams this May, then going to Euro Disney with Farizah. This year, I am going to be a UK tourist. I want to go to all the tourist places in London first. I want to visit Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Temple Church, then I want to go out of London to visit Thorpe Park and finally I want to visit Scotland.
Thats my plans for this year Insya Allah....

[::..A Tribute to Dog Lovers? Naaa......::]
I was blessed with a really good day today. We had an Atrial Tachycardia case, and I was prepared to stay till midnight. I was warning everyone that we are going to stay till late. But the brilliant doctor was spot on. We ablated the tachycardia in 7.1 seconds. I was soooo happy and so impressed. Cases like this makes working worthwhile. All of us were happy. Mo allowed me to go home half an hour earlier. So I quickly changes and left the hospital. I decided to take a different route today, just so I know my way round Kings Road. It was good, Sunshine everywhere. Cool weather. Then I came to the worst part of my walk....
The River Thames.
This is where I normally encounter lots of dog poos. This is where I normally encounter Wayne and Stan on their bicycles to work. This is where Mo and I walked on good days......And this is always where I GET APPROACHED BY DOGS of all sizes and shapes.
For those of you who do not know me, I am Farah, the dog phobic. To some people, they know me as the girl who rather get knocked down by a car than approached by a dog. I just don't do dogs. I'm terrified of them. I hate their nature of coming to you and wagging their tails and licking you body parts. I just can't stand it. It scares me. Their saliva scares me, their tongue scares me, their teeth scares me. Everything about them scares me. I am so scared of them, I think I am going to the GP to get a letter. I am always close to tears when a dog approaches me.
On most days, the English dog lovers are really polite and very accommodating. Most of the owners will call their dogs when made aware of my predicament. Some nice ones even apologise if their dogs approach me. And I would say it is my fault, coz I am just tooooo scared of dogs, and they would walk away smiling and waving their hands. But today, I encountered, a Bitch in her own right. One who behaved worse than a dog.
From afar I saw her two bulldogs running about the pavements of the river. I have no problem with that. They can run anywhere they want, but please do not come near me. I know dogs are animals, they do not have brains like human, or like their owners. But most dogs in London are very well trained, and they will do as they say. But this lady, she has no intelligence at all. She was shouting at me that it is a public place and that if the dogs want to come to me, they can. Shouting at me. WHO SHOUTS IN A PUBLIC PLACE EXCEPT FOR A LOONY?????? No they bloody well cant. I have a right to my own personal space. I pay tax to walk on the pavements of London.
You know what, I was thinking so hard what to reply her royal bitchiness, but i walked away. Trembling still from the encounter. And I pray to Allah so Allah will teach her some humility and compassion to others. Of course I could wish the worst for her, but it is not worth it. Not at all....
For those nice people reading this entry, sorry for the anger, sorry for the bad words, sorry for everything. I just needed to pour my heart out coz I am just so lonely in London.
At the end of this entry, I am still scared of dogs. That fear will be with me till the end of time....Sometimes I wonder, what is the real need to have a dog in this world?

[::..Steamed Eggs anyone?..::]
I was in an experimental mood today even after a hard days work. I was going to make roast chicken, and steamed eggs the way auntie Karen taught me. But I was going to add some minced beef and spring onions to make it nicer....
So, I beat 4 eggs (I can't remember if egg yolks are used, but what the heck, i will use it as well), added dark soya sauce, light soya sauce, sesame oil, salt, white pepper, black pepper and then the spring onions and mince beef. Put it in the steamer and hope for the best.
After 3 minutes, the aroma filler the room, so I decide to open and take a look. To my horror, i found a crinkled expanding entity inside. Then I remembered....I forgot to add some water to the whole mixture of beaten eggs. Sigh....As always, sometimes my skills fail me. The steamed egg was still nice to eat, only it didn't have that glistening smooth tofu texture. Well...maybe next time.
My roast chicken as usual is always good. So, no need to talk about that.
I had a nice day today. Mo and I had Dr Wajid with us. So, it was an exceptionally fine day. Sad to say Wajid is leaving us soon. Wish we could have him forever. I was very tired at the end of the day though. Michelle wanted me to try to program the ICD for induction. Then she checked. She said i did ok. I was happy because i have been away for 6 weeks and I was trying to remember what to do. Mo taught me lots of things about pacemaker and ICD today as well. She has an encyclopedia for a brain. Sometimes I wonder where she gets all this information from. And how she could retain it all. I suppose, I just have to work a bit harder at making use of my dainty little brain!
Well....I'm so tired. Sometimes I wonder, what the hell am I doing here. The novelty of working in a foreign country is wearing off. Life, is always better at home where my loved ones are....

[::..My baby Brother and baby Sister's Birthday..::]

22 years ago in 1985, I was celebrating my 6th Birthday in Jollibee. I was having so much fun, but surprisingly, all I could remember was Auntie Hanim and a very pregnant Mama. Mum was going to give birth any day then. In the afternoon, she had a very strong craving for JackFruit. I can't remember how much she actually ate, but late at night, she had severe tummy pain. She was clutching her tummy while telling me to tell Auntie Hanim that she had tummy pains. A few hours later, the two of them set off for the hospital. I was too young to know what was going on, then, i didn't even know my mum had a baby in her tummy. But soon after, I found out that I had a baby brother. He was named: Fazal Hanaffi, and he was the chubbiest baby anyone could ever imagine. So cute. I can't remember much after that. All I could remember to this day was that he was born, 1 day, 6 years later than me.
It was months later I think we moved to our nice spacious house in Marine Crescent. It was in that house Fazal and I grew up for the next 17 years. I was a 'good' sister. I blamed everything that went wrong, or everything that I broke on Adik. Of course mum would not hit him coz he was just a baby.
By the grace of god, years later, Mum met Dad and I had a kid sister. She was Fatin Atikah. She was crying all the time. I was scared of her coz she was so skinny and she cried a lot. Incidentally, her birthday was on the 4th of March as well. Today, shes 18 years old and waiting to go to Poly.
So, now I have two siblings born on the same day, born 4 yrs apart.
And what does that makes me? A very old lady.
Somewhere in between, in 25th February 1995, Farizah Farhani was born to Faudziah Hanim and Kader Awang...This little Princess had big eyes and really curly hair. I forgot to include that she is my kepo little cousin! hehe....Funny enough, this old lady, still hangs out with them. Coz they make up my life along with Fariz and Fazli the two warrior princes.
The End........Happy Birthday to Fazal and Fatin.
My life will never be the same without all of you.

[::..Total Eclipse of the Moon.....::]

The most spectacular total eclipse of the moon in years was due to take place amid forecasts of clear skies. For the first time in six years, thousands of people across Britain hoped to watch in wonder as the silvery full moon darkened and turned coppery red or orange.
The phenomenon occurs when the earth passes directly between the moon and the sun.
Light scattering through the earth's atmosphere is reduced to predominantly-red wavelengths, which reflect off the lunar surface. Dramatic views of the eclipse, at its height from 10.24pm to 11.58pm, were promised almost everywhere in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

I managed to see this. Masya Allah. Happy Birthday my two siblings: Fatin and Fazal.

[::..My Wishes..::]
As everyone knows, I am going to be sitting for an important exam on May 8 2007. I really should be studying. It is my birthday today, and I am supposed to go out with my girlfriend, but it was not meant to be. So, I had some time updating my blog. I have included beautiful pictures of London. Well....let me warn you. It looks nothing like it! Haha. It has a lot of history to it, nice skyline, unlike Singapore which is covered in high rise building. It is here I can see the sunset, the sky, the stars...You have Hugh Grant, Love Actually, Little Britain, and Borat (really, hes actually English)! I have also included the Kooks and their music video. Of course they are English!
Under links, I have included the Eurostar which Insya Allah Farizah and I will be using to go to our holiday in Paris Disneyland. I have looked at the prices, it is quite reasonable (reasonably expansive) but I haven't been on a good holiday for 2 yrs, so, I'm allowed to squander my money. I am planning to book us into a Disney Themed Hotel, so Farizah can meet the Disney Characters during Breakfast. Actually, I am the one who wants to meet them. I have forgotten my childhood. So, I need to be a child again. hehe. During the holiday, my poor little princess will have to put up with bread and tuna as I really don't know what to eat in Paris. I have asked her, and she said she will be ok. She is such a little angel.
I realised that I never actually wrote about my plane ride home to London. Well, besides the occasional turbulence, which reduced me to a bag of tears, I had a really pleasant plane ride. I called the SIA office 2 days prior my departure telling them that I have an allergy to salmon. I told them this long story of me being served 2 salmon dishes on my flight from London-Singapore as Muslim Meal. It made me sick. I hate salmon, even if it is with tons of yummy cream. Yuck. So, during my return flight to London, I had Mee Siam and Ayam Goreng Kunyit for breakfast. Sedapnya. For Lunch i had a supper yummy Briyani Rice, steamed mix vege and Korma Chicken. Ohhh....best...Bila buka tin foilnya, aroma nya meng-spread seluruh aeroplane. Mat salleh mat salleh sesat yang duduk sebelah, semua tercengang. Bau nya sungguh harum....I makan lah...Lepas tu, dapat ice cream connetto. Wah....
But I still prefer the meal selection and entertainment of Malaysia Airlines, of course. Everything is Halal. Yummy. And you have Quran Audios inside s well, a prayer room...Fabulous.
Tonight, i am meeting some nice people to bring me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. Everyone is so sweet....Now, I have to do some washing first. Too much laundry....Too much....

[::..It's Britney's Birthday!..::]
Yes everyone....I woke up to lots of birthday texts on my mobile. My mum wished me on the phone. So did Faizal. Yaqin and Lala my two best friends in the whole wide world gave me texts. Lala tried to call, but i was still sleeping soundly. Zulficar, Fazal by gorgeous baby brother (not baby anymore, hes 22 tomorrow) and Uncle, my biggest fan (I love you so much, and I miss you) in the world sent me text messages as well. I am so blessed to be loved by so many people. And Fatin, my baby sis, who shares her birthday with Fazal on the 4th of March.
Thank you so much....thanks for reminding me, I'm getting old....sigh...
I pray to Allah, to keep me sane and safe, and for Him to still love me to give me a chance to repent. For him to save me from the evils of this world. For Him to give me constant reminders that life is just a stepping stone to a Promised Land. And for Him to make me realise, 28 is just another number, and that He has blessed me with wonderful friends, and families, and loved ones for me to cherish for the the rest of my life. What have I gained in 28 years? I have gained lots in this world but I think it is time I invest more times for the hereafter.
"Oh Allah, give me the patience to do my ibadah to you in the best way possible, bring me closer to you, make my prayers feel like I am beside you, put in my heart a stronger love for you. And, please give me a chance to visit Your house soon insya Allah."

[::..So very tired.....::]
Hi Everyone...
It has been an incredibly tiring week. I started work on Tuesday. And I was working till late even today. And looking at the EPS list for tomorrow, I think tomorrow as well. It has been hard getting back into the work momentum. I was a bit lost. Forgot a lot of stuff, really rusty. Mo has been very patient with me, and so were the doctors. Well, Jan and Jonathan are the only ones who had to put up with me, and they have been great. Jonathan allowed me to make a geometry of the Left Atrium today and it was a good geometry. He was good today. He did everything nicely, and the two of us including Alison were very proud of the geometry. Of course I could do with a bit more time making the geometry nicer.
I had a whole day with my Principle Physiologist yesterday. She was training me in Pediatrics Cardiology. It was not easy, but it was worth it. I get to see little babies the whole day. They are so tiny and so cute. The toddlers are also very sweet. They talk so much, and they talk like adults, and I get so amused by it. Of course I have to remind myself all the time that these kids are my patients and I have to be professional. I am professional to them, and I add in a bit of human touch as well coz the little ones just deserve it.
It was a good 'home coming' at work. I missed so many things in London like the snow fall, the staff meetings, staff promotions and all. I spent a long time reading all the emails. I had hundreds of them. Some were rubbish emails, so I straight away deleted them. Others were interesting (Physiologist restructuring) and amuzing...well...I try to make work as interesting as possible.
Jonathan has a new name for me. He calls me Britney now. All because he dreamt that I was wearing Britney Spear's hair as a wig! So, now, he tells everyone I'm not Farah. I'm Britney. Oh well, he makes me laugh all the time. I missed so many people at work. However, I don't miss the work at all.
Tomorrow is Friday, and I am on the early shift, and I reckon it will be a late finish as well. I don't mind as long as I am with Mo. She will take good care of me.
Matters of the heart is raining on me. For the guilty parties, please don't give me any more stress than I could bear. I'm sitting for my exams soon. For as long as there is love, there is hope. For as long as there is Allah, there is faith. The course of love is never easy. But when I go down, I do not want to drag you down with me. So, please leave me be. At least for the next 2 months. I can't hardly bear the weight of my heart. And it is drowning me, along with my tears and my fears.....
