[::..Chicken Rice..::]

You can hear from my blog that it is a song about going to rehab. I think it is a fab idea for me to spend some time in there....Just to chill out...Chill.

It was Johnny's birthday today. Mo and I went out to King's Road to buy him a cake and his favourite sandwich from Pret. I bought the same sandwich as well, and a cup of miso soup. I love miso soup. I can drink it forever. We came back an hour later and tried to hide the cake but Johnny was talking to some people on the corridor. So we kept the cake in the dirty room instead. Later on, after 2 ablation cases, Johnny went to the ward to meet his patient and we lit some candles on his cake and paged him saying that his patient is ready. When he came back, he was surprised to see a birthday cake in the lab and we all came out from hiding behind the anaesthetic machine to surprise him. Can't believe he was a March baby as well. This month, we had me, Steph, Jarrad and now Johnny.

I had a nice day, but my day was spoiled when I came home. I was teaching Momo and my another friend how to make chicken rice, and suddenly I had a craving for it. So, Mo and I went to get some groceries for the rice. I wanted to get halal chicken from my usual butcher, but when i reached there, it was closed. Then I saw a 'Closing Down' sale sign and went in and spoke to the owner. I was visibly upset. I told him how dare he abandon the Muslims living here. Then he said there are some halal butchers up the road. My only worry is where am i gonna find chicken wings and beef meat now? They are like gold dust. So difficult to find. And my butcher's meats are very very fresh. I used to buy daily and not keep any in the freezer.

So, my dreams of making chicken rice today ended just like that....Well, luckily for me, I bought Humus in Waitrose just now and I had another packet of crisp from Pret this morning. So, that's my dinner. That's all.....

I'm gutted.
