[::..Same same but Different!..::]

I was blogging as usual when I get 5 minutes to spare. Reading my two sister's blogs then it finally hit on me. WHAT AM I DOING BLOGGING AT THIS AGE?

Then I sat down and thought to myself. How come I suddenly started blogging. And the reason is because I wanted my England friends to read about how I was getting on in Singapore. But the true purpose of blogging was only apparent 6 weeks later when I'm home in London and people back home in Singapore were reading my blog to see how I'm getting on. Blogging beats writing diaries any time! But a few people has used my blog to attack me personally. Well, what the heck. As long as it rocks your boat missus. I am totally fine with whatever.

Few months after I started blogging, I started Facebook pulak. Hai. Ape nak jadi. Maybe making up for lost time. During my childhood tak tau main ni semua. People at my age are married, having babies, buying house, playing house, and I am blogging. Something definitely wrong with me.

I always told my best mate, I have no one to call my own. And she always rubbished me. She said, "It is not that you have NO ONE! You have to many to choose from! You are confused!" And I will roll my eyes at her, admitting some truth, but it is not entirely true either. As the Thai would say, "Same same but different!" Haha. I was working with one of my Saffa colleague yesterday. And I was explaining to him about something. Then he said that," Same same but different!" And he laughed even before I could catch the joke. Later he explained, if you go Thailand and you buy stuff, the Thais always say,"Same same but different!" hehe...very funny.

Now, hoping that I can still be of service to this country, I hope to take a sabbatical to Tarim for a year just to sort out my life. Pray that I finally find peace.

Next month, no peace. The Singaporeans are coming. It is so exciting. We will be huddled in bed under the duvet drinking hot chocolate. Too cold for comfort. I miss them. Everyone, please please pray to Allah that those who are making their way to London have a safe journey.
